Sergeant Grit Grinder's Suicide Squad: an 'alternative facts' story of World War II. “Sgt Grit Grinder’s Suicide Squad” was a legendary 1980s comic strip from Macquarie University’s student newspaper Arena. It was conceived and written by Ken Enderby and Greg Rickards; illustrated by Greg Rickards.
